Also it is best to simply keep your fingers off sugared beverages or fruit juices, which only add more sugar to your system.
Skipping meals will make your body break down muscle tissue to generate the energy you didn’t provide at the right time. In essence the “skipping meals” diet creates the illusion of losing weight, though in reality you are losing valuable muscle mass instead of fat mass! It is important to keep the blood sugar at normal level, spreading the food consumption throughout the day, which means the same amount you would eat in three meals simply split over five meals.
The secret is to eat the right food at the right time, with the right combination.
Carbohydrates are the body’s preferred form of power source because they can be quickly converted to glucose for energy. Whether simple or complex, carbohydrates are ultimately broken down into “sugar”. Carbohydrates sugars take longer to absorb into the bloodstream if consumed with other food. For longer-lasting energy, combine protein along with complex carbs at the right time.
The best way to lose weight without having to become a “bunny nibbling on salad” all day is to change your habits slowly, otherwise you might crave for “sugar” you left out and go back to the same eating behavior as before.
Food is not your enemy! You only have to use it right and control your intake. It is impossible to expect to lose weight after years and years of abusing your body. Take it step by step and exercise regularly and you will experience a change. Take care of your body it is the only one you have!
