Juicing can add some variety to your diet while helping you get the necessary nutrients from fruits and vegetables.

Juicing can reduce your risk of cancer, boost your immune system, help you remove toxins from your body, aid digestion and help you lose weight. Although there’s no sound scientific evidence that extracted juices are healthier than the juice you get by eating the fruit or vegetable itself, if you don’t enjoy eating fresh fruits and vegetables, juicing may be a fun way to add them to your diet or to try fruits and vegetables you normally wouldn’t eat.

There are some things to be considered when juicing. Such as:

  • The amount of fruits per juice. It means, too much fruit, higher sugar levels. For more information read this article: Diabetes and Juicing
  • Teeth, it is recommend always using a straw and never ever brushing your teeth straight after drinking as the sugar and acid softens the enamel of the teeth so you could actually be doing more damage.
  • It is also recommended to have a balanced diet besides juicing to enjoy all the benefits.

Enjoy and have fun creating your own recipes!
